Tennessee showcased the advantages of converting a 4-star quarterback to wide receiver in its game against Florida on Saturday.
The Vols scored their first touchdown when Josh Dobbs found wide receiver Jauan Jennings — who was originally signed as a blue-chip quarterback — on a screen pass that was thrown back across the field to Dobbs for a 58-yard touchdown in the first quarter. It was Dobbs’ first career receiving touchdown as well as Jennings’ first passing score.
Both teams were tied at 7-7 with 5:07 left in the first quarter.
