Tennessee won’t stay in Lexington before the game
Perhaps Tennessee’s football team can see Commonwealth Stadium when they fly over it.
The Vols will stay in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Friday night because hotels are at maximum capacity for the Breeders’ Cup in Lexington, Ky. The Vols will then drive to Lexington on Saturday for their game against Kentucky at 7:30 p.m. ET. After the game, the Vols will drive back to Knoxville.
Tennessee coach Butch Jones is trying to make the most of it. The Vols will have a walkthrough in Paul Brown Stadium, the home of the Cincinnati Bengals, on Friday. Jones said Bengals coach Marvin Lewis will visit with the team during their light practice.
