Tennessee WR Jauan Jennings just made the catch of a lifetime to beat Georgia, so it may be surprising to hear the sophomore say it was not the top catch of his young career.
But that’s exactly what the converted quarterback told reporters in the moments after he caught a 43-yard Hail Mary pass from Josh Dobbs to beat Georgia, 34-31, in Athens. Jennings was asked where that catch ranked for him personally, and his response was a direct shot at Florida.
Jennings ranked a 67-yard go-ahead touchdown reception in the fourth quarter of a 38-28 victory against the Gators as the top of his career.
The reason? He burned outspoken Florida CB Jalen Tabor on the play.
Where does this catch rank? Jauan Jennings: "No. 2 behind burning Tabor"

It’s safe to say that it’s good to be Jennings, whose stock as a contributor to Tennessee has never been higher. It will be hard to top the last two games for the wide receiver, but we will still watch to see if he does even greater things against Texas A&M on Oct. 8.
