KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Sophomore Darrelll Miller Jr. is no longer with the Tennessee football team, according to his Twitter account and a UT spokesman.
Miller Jr., from Cedar Hill, Texas, was a reserve defensive back who didn’t appear to figure into the mix this season on Bob Shoop’s defense.
A 5-foot-10, 185-pounder, Miller Jr. appeared in five games last season as a true freshman, making his debut against Bowling Green.
According to the 247sports composite, Miller Jr was a 3-star prospect coming out of high school, the 69th-best cornerback in the nation, and No. 94 player out of Texas.

Tennessee announced earlier this fall that senior receiver Cody Blanc is not returning to the team, and tight end Joe Stocstill also left the program on account of injuries.
