Another day, another prospect lost for Butch Jones and the Tennessee Volunteers.
Tre Lawson made it official on Tuesday, as the second former commit for the Vols to abandon his plans.
Well, as official as it can get on the recruiting trail.
The South Carolina defensive end announced his de-commitment from Tennessee on his Twitter account, confirming what many believed was coming.

He also needs to borrow a phone charger.
The 6 foot 6 defensive end had a nice senior season, recording 12 sacks and 19 tackles for loss. He joined Tennessee class in June during the flurry of commits on ‘Orange Carpet Day.’
The recruiting industry is rather spilt on Lawson, as some believe he is highly underrated and a potential X-factor, while others question his fit and position in college.
According to 247 Sports, Lawson is the No. 85 defensive lineman in this year’s graduating class.
