Two Tennessee OL leave Saturday’s game with injuries
Tennessee sophomore left guard Jashon Robertson went down with an apparent left leg injury in the first quarter of the UGA game on Saturday. Then, redshirt senior center Mack Crowder went down with an apparent left leg injury in the second quarter.
UT’s offensive line was already beset by injury. Former starting sophomore right tackle Brett Kendrick didn’t start for the first time this season with an injury. That pushed former center Coleman Thomas to right tackle and Crowder into the starting lineup, where he started 11 games last season.
Highly touted freshman Jack Jones replaced Robertson at right guard. When Crowder went out, Thomas went back to center. Freshman Chance Hall was inserted at right tackle.
More on the status of the players when it becomes available.
