Tennessee sent the senior class out in style with a 63-37 win against Missouri during the final home game at Neyland Stadium for the 2016 season.
Among those that had a great farewell performance in front of the home crowd was senior QB Joshua Dobbs. Not only did he account for five of the touchdowns himself (three through the air and two on the ground), but he also led the Tennessee band in a post-game rendition of Rocky Top, a la Vols great Peyton Manning.
In total, the Vols amassed an impressive nine touchdowns during the blowout win at Neyland Stadium. That, in itself, assured that the senior class would hear Rocky Top plenty of times during the Senior Day festivities. Though the Vols were eliminated from SEC East title contention earlier in the day, Tennessee still believes it has plenty to play for with an 8-3 record and the Sugar Bowl sitting out there as a distinct possibility.
