Tennessee fans and players are enjoying a win against Florida for the first time since 2004. Even former Vols players seem to be taking a great deal of pride in the 38-28 win at Neyland Stadium on Saturday.
Take, for example, former Vols defensive lineman Robert Ayers. The 31-year-old member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was so fired up about the victory that he decided to break out his Tennessee orange sports car to drive to team meetings on Saturday night.
He delivered a special message from the drivers seat in the hours following the Vols win and he posted the message to Instagram for the world to see:
Ayers was an All-SEC player for the Vols in 2008 and was a first-round selection of the Denver Broncos in the 2009 NFL Draft. The Buccaneers host the Los Angeles Rams in Week 3 NFL action on Sunday.
