It looks like Tennessee has used up all of its fumble luck.
After Tennessee lost one fumble earlier in the game, Jalen Hurd lost another. But Hurd’s was much more costly. Hurd had a touchdown reception against Georgia if he had finished the run. But Bulldogs CB Deandre Baker didn’t give up on the play and walloped Hurd. Hurd fumbled and Georgia recovered in the end zone.
Tennessee coach Butch Jones was not happy about the play, and the color of his face showed it.

Georgia scored a touchdown on the ensuing drive to take a 17-0 lead. Tennessee has fallen behind by double digits again, making it the fourth time in five games this year. This is the first true road game for the Volunteers of the year.
