Jarrett Guarantano showed a lot of toughness in the first half against Alabama, his first career start on the road and second overall.
On the final play of the half, the redshirt freshman rolled to his right for a Hail Mary, and he was hit hard as he threw by two Alabama defenders. Take a look:
Jarrett Guarantano has been super tough today, but not sure how many more punishing hits he can take. Was crushed on heave before halftime. pic.twitter.com/TD4Q1AV7wb

Credit to Guarantano for sticking with the play and taking the punishment. He’s living up to what his dad tweeted earlier Saturday about not being afraid of the Crimson Tide, but boy he’s probably wondering what he has to do to not get thrown around like a rag doll.
Alabama leads Tennessee 21-0 at halftime in Tuscaloosa.
