Joshua Dobbs doesn’t have any siblings. But he does view 6-year-old cancer survivor A.J. Cucksey as a younger brother.
On Saturday morning’s ESPN College Gameday, Dobbs’ relationships with Cucksey, who he met on a charity visit, and his mother, Stephanie, who is in a wheelchair, were featured in an emotional segment.
Dobbs’ mother has been in a wheelchair since since he was young, but that hasn’t stopped the family from traveling to see him play for the Volunteers.
Cucksey has battled brain tumors and his attitude through the struggles has inspired Dobbs.
