Tennessee safety Brian Randolph has a rather unorthodox approach to bowling.
Forget traditional ways to score strikes and spares. Randolph prefers a unique belly-flop style. The senior unveiled the technique during a bowling competition between the Vols and Outback Bowl opponent Northwestern on Sunday evening. The method was actually somewhat successful.

The Vols arrived in Tampa, Fla., for the bowl game on Saturday. The bowl festivities last most of the week. Tennessee and Northwestern will attend a Tampa Bay Lightning game on Monday and Busch Gardens amusement park on Tuesday. The Vols play Northwestern at noon ET on Jan. 1.
