It seems like one-handed catches are all the rave these days (thanks Odell Beckham Jr.). In fact, if you catch a ball with two hands should it even count?
If that was a real rule, Tennessee junior wide receiver Josh Smith would not have a problem by the looks of the reception he made in practice Tuesday.

Smith played in 13 games and made seven starts for the Vols last season after missing the majority of 2014 with an ankle injury. He caught 23 passes for 307 yards, which was third on the team, and two touchdowns.
Tennessee is a popular pick to win the SEC East next season, and if Smith can make catches like that, it will help.
