KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Butch Jones and a handful of his Tennessee football players met with the media at the Ray and Lucy Hand Digital Studio on Wednesday, and believe it or not the Presidential election was never brought up.
In addition to Jones, linebacker Darrin Kirkland Jr., tight end Jason Croom, defensive lineman LaTroy Lewis and receiver Josh Malone discussed the state of the Vols as they head into their noon game against Kentucky at Neyland Stadium on Saturday.
Tennessee (6-3, 2-3) is playing for the chance to win the SEC East Division and compete in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.
The Wildcats (5-4, 4-3) still have a chance at winning the SEC East Division, too, and with another win can become bowl eligible and post their first wining mark in league play since 1977.
