Tennessee had an incredible run of fumble luck in its first five games. It appears the luck has run out.
The Volunteers have fumbled the ball six times today, with Texas A&M recovering five of them. The Aggies turned three of those fumbles into three touchdowns.
The Volunteers have lost two of those fumbles inside the Texas A&M 10-yard line. Alvin Kamara had the ball ripped away from him in the first quarter of the game after a long run.
In the third quarter, after a Colton Jumper interception gave the Volunteers great field position, running back John Kelly fumbled the ball again. Quarterback Josh Dobbs had a chance to jump on the football, but he couldn’t grab and A&M recovered.

On the Volunteers next drive, Jason Croom bobbled a pass that led to a Tennessee interception. Despite all of these turnovers, Tennessee is still only down 28-14 in the third quarter.
