COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Nigel Warrior celebrated on the eve of his high school graduation by sitting in front of a smart phone and conducting a Facebook Live chat that lasted more than 30 minutes.
“The big crowds, lots of people, it has never really phased me,” said Warrior, the No. 4-ranked safety in the country who had nearly 30 offers before choosing Tennessee on national signing day.

Warrior said he’s looking forward to playing in front of the Vols faithful and competing in the same stadium where his father, Dale Carter, became an SEC legend before launching a successful NFL career.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound prospect from Peachtree Ridge High school credited his mother, Tangie Warrior, for helping him get through the recruiting process and preparing him for the academic challenges that await in Knoxville.
“I’m just anxious to finally be around where I want to be,” Warrior said. “Ever since I committed and signed, I was ready to be up there.”
Warrior will arrive on the Tennessee campus on Monday.
