Texas A&M received a commitment from 2017 quarterback Connor Blumrick late Friday night, according to multiple reports.
The news comes just a few days after the three-star quarterback out of Pearland (Texas) High School received an offer from the Aggies. In 2015, he completed 106 of his 176 pass attempts for 1,478 yards and 13 touchdown last season, per 247Sports.
Recruited by offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone, the 6-foot-6, 203-pounder is the seventh member of the 2017 recruiting class for the Aggies. He follows Manvel safety Derrick Tucker, who committed to A&M on May 13.
Blumrick is the first quarterback to commit to the Aggies in the 2017 class since the recent de-commitment of Tate Martell, five-star quarterback from Nevada.
