Texas A&M quarterback Kyler Murray threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns as the Aggies crushed Western Carolina 41-17 in their final home game of the season.
The Aggies (7-3, 4-3 SEC) scored 20 straight points after Western Carolina tied it at 14 in the second quarter. Win No. 7 for the Aggies wasn’t pretty, but they were able to overcome the absence of two wide receivers and snapped out of a recent slump of losing three of their last four games.
Here are three things to know:
- Texas A&M was without wide receivers Speedy Noil and Josh Reynolds for Saturday’s game because of a suspension for violating team rules.
- Texas A&M coach had some positive things to say after the Aggies’ victory over Western Carolina. You can check out the video of his postgame press conference HERE.
- A day after the the tragic events surrounding Paris, Texas A&M showed solidarity with the French capital. The University’s official Twitter account tweeted a photo of the 12th Man sign next to a French flag.
