TGIF, everyone! We’re finally a day away from game time, as No. 15 Texas A&M goes on the road to face No. 24 Ole Miss in Oxford, Miss.
Here are three things to know:
- Alabama escaped with a 41-23 win this past Saturday, but coach Nick Saban said the Aggies fans at Kyle Field gave A&M a huge advantage.
- Kansas coach and former Texas A&M recruiting coordinator David Beaty compared Aggies defensive end Myles Garrett’s game-changing abilities to 2012 Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel. But off the field, the two couldn’t be more of the opposite.
- Texas A&M targets and half brothers running back/linebacker Bruce Jordan-Swilling and running back Tre Swilling look to play for a school where they can both compete together. The duo from Brother Martin High School (New Orleans, La.) are also considering offers from LSU, Michigan, UCLA and Tulane.
Other Texas A&M news from the Internet
- Former Texas A&M punter Shane Lechler will reunite with ex-Aggies former teammate Dan Campbell when Lechler’s Houston Texans face Campbell’s Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Campbell is now the head coach of the Dolphins and Houston Chronicle’s John McClain spoke with the two to hear what it was like to share an apartment together back in their college days.
