The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder is the No. 27 player in the state of Texas and No. 29 offensive tackle in the Class of 2017, according to 247Sports.
Reed has received offers from a plethora of big schools — including Texas, where he visited last weekend. But he also took a trip to College Station on Saturday for the Aggies’ spring game and left as a Texas A&M commit.
Reed tweeted his announcement a little less than an hour after the scrimmage ended.
