The reasoning behind the arrest of Ondario Robinson and the theft police charged him with are beginning to come to light.
Initial reports from the Dallas Morning News stated that Robinson stole an item between $100 and $750 and was later released after posting $2,000 bond.
Now a report from Travis Brown of Aggiesports.com citing the police probable cause statement has brought out new details in the arrest.
According to the probable cause statement, Robinson stole a University Police Department “bait bike” from the west side of the Koldus Building on campus. He was later arrested on campus after detectives tracked the $350 bike using GPS, according to the probable cause statement
It’s still unknown what type of punishment Robinson will face from the school. Kevin Sumlin has yet to issue any statement on the arrest.
