The Aggies secondary may be a strength in 2017 thanks to the return of some key contributors. On Wednesday evening, junior DB Donovan Wilson revealed that he will return to College Station for his senior season in 2017.
He joins star safety Armani Watts in making the decision to put professional football on hold to spend one more season in John Chavis’ defense in hopes of capturing the elusive SEC West crown.
Wilson made his announcement via Twitter:

Wilson’s Aggies next will be in action at the upcoming Texas Bowl against Kansas State. Texas A&M will look to put a bow on the 2016 season with its ninth win of the year in a game that will match the Aggies against the former Big 12 conference mate and legendary Wildcats coach and Bill Snyder.
Wilson had just 35 tackles and one interception in 2016, which has to be considered a down year compared to his 2015 season which produced five interceptions, three forced fumbles and 8.5 tackles for loss.
