The SEC rules the NFL.
That was confirmed on Monday night as NFL Network unveiled its top players in the NFL 100 list, which was voted on by players in the league.
Denver Broncos star defensive end Von Miller, a Texas A&M alum, was No. 2 on the list, trailing only Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. Another former SEC star, Alabama’s Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons, was rated as the league’s third-best player by his peers.
In all, the SEC had 23 players on the Top 100 list.
Miller had 13.5 sacks and 62 tackles this past season for the Broncos, his sixth in the league.
The 2015 Super Bowl MVP had 73.5 career sacks, good for a tie for 75th all-time. He is a five-time Pro Bowler.
