Tate Martell stung a lot of Texas A&M fans when he announced his decommitment from the Aggies. The 2017 4-star quarterback later committed to Ohio State, but it looks like some Aggie fans and former players haven’t forgotten about Martell.
Early Thursday morning, Martell posted a long note about his maturity process and dealing with recruiting rankings.
Germain Ifedi saw Martell’s tweet and sent a simple response. Ifedi was the No. 31 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Ifedi became the fourth straight Texas A&M offensive tackle to be drafted in the first round, joining Luke Joeckel, Jake Matthews and Cedric Ogbuehi.

Martell didn’t like that response and fired off a tweet of his own, encouraging the first round pick to go tell his new coach about his tweets. MArtell’s tweets has since been taken down.
The 4-star quarterback announced his commitment to Ohio State on June 12. He is the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2017 and the No. 1 player in the state of Nevada. He joins Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray as No. 1 quarterbacks who committed to play at Texas A&M, before deciding to play elsewhere.
To replace Martell, Texas A&M secured the services of Kellen Mond, the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback who was previously committed to Baylor.
