The Texas A&M basketball roster is currently turned upside down. First off, the team doesn’t know whether they’ll lose Tyler Davis and Admon Gilder to the NBA.
As if that wasn’t enough, it was announced on Sunday that 2018 signee Antwann Jones was granted his release. The 6-6, 210-pound shooting guard immediately took a visit to the University of Memphis where he committed to play for new coach Penny Hardaway.
The Commercial Appeal was the first to break the news of Jones’ signing with the Tigers on Sunday. Jones followed it up with a tweet on Monday to make it official.

Jones was a 4-star prospect according to 247Sports. He was the No. 18 shooting guard and No. 92 overall ranked player.
At this point, the team can’t afford to lose both Davis and Gilder.
