Former Texas A&M quarterback commit Tate Martell has whittled his list of top schools to seven.
The nation’s No. 1 dual-threat quarterback prospect tweeted out the news Tuesday, and the Aggies are nowhere on his list. The five-star prospect included Southern Cal, UCLA, West Virginia, Cal, Ohio State, Miami (Fla.) and Colorado.
My Official Top 7 (No Order)

The rant caused quite a stir, and was seemingly more than enough to drive Martell away from College Station for good. Good thing for the Aggies, it doesn’t look as if any other SEC school has made a noticeable impact on him, either.
That is, unless he decides to change his mind again.
Following Martell’s de-commitment, the Aggies picked up a commitment from 2017 quarterback Connor Blumrick.
