Alex Caruso and Jalen Jones helped lead Texas A&M basketball to one of the best seasons the school has ever experienced last season and now both players will get their chance to prove they can play in the NBA.
Caruso, a homegrown product of College Station, has signed a free agent deal with the Philadelphia 76ers and will compete for the franchise in the Las Vegas and Utah summer leagues, according to TexAgs.com
Jones has signed a free agent deal with the Toronto Raptors and will also try to prove himself during summer league action, according to TexAgs.com.
Caruso and Jones join another member of last season’s team, guard Danuel House (Washington Wizards), in signing with NBA franchises after all three went undrafted last week. The trio led the Aggies to the Sweet 16 last season, including an historic comeback win over Northern Iowa before falling to Oklahoma.
