Conner McQueen, a former quarterback and offensive analyst at Texas A&M, will get to learn from one of the best offensive minds in college football as he has joined Chip Kelly’s staff at UCLA as a graduate assistant, per Bruce Feldman.
McQueen, who was rarely used during his three seasons playing for the Aggies, completed his only pass attempt for a yard gain while also rushing two times for eight yards. He spent the 2017 season on Kevin Sumlin’s staff as an offensive analyst, as his former coach saw a great attitude from the player during his time on the team.
During the past season, McQueen helped the offensive staff with film and coming up with offensive schemes for the upcoming game.
Working for Kelly, McQueen will get to experience first-hand what has made the former Oregon head coach’s system so unique and why it works. During his time with the Ducks, the offense consistently finished in the top 5 in total offense.
