Ryan Tannehill has had a very impressive season for the Dolphins this year, as Miami is in the thick of playoff contention. Unfortunately, the former Texas A&M quarterback may not be able to lead the Dolphins for the remainder of the season.
In Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, Miami’s coaches believe Tannehill tore his ACL.

Tannehill was taken with the No. 8 pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Tannehill was the Aggies’ quarterback the year before they moved into the SEC. Entering Sunday’s game, Tannehill had thrown for 103 touchdowns to just 65 interceptions for his career and was completing a career best 66.7 percent of his passes in 2016 under new head coach Adam Gase.
Tannehill’s college team will take on Kansas State in the Texas Bowl on Dec. 28. Kickoff for the game starts at 9 p.m. ET and ESPN will broadcast the game.
