It’s the season of giving, and former Texas A&M basketball star Khris Middleton is doing his part.
The Milwaukee Bucks forward is making Aggies fans proud with his generosity in the West Allis, Wisc. area this holiday season.
According to a report from local television affiliate Fox 6, Middleton recently participated in an event with the non-profit organization “Pay away the layaway” to help unsuspecting families pay off the outstanding balances on Christmas presents for their children.
“It means a lot. I’m in the position to give back, so especially times like this when families are going through tough times, to just be able to help out and lend them a hand and ease their Christmas a little bit, it really means a lot to me,” Middleton said according to the news station.
Middleton was a second-round pick of the Detroit Pistons coming out of Texas A&M in 2012.
He has not played in any games for the Bucks this season due to a torn left hamstring, which was reported to require a six-month recovery. Last season, Middleton averaged 18.2 points per game.
