After another tumultuous week in the headlines, Johnny Manziel may be turning his life around.
According to TMZ Sports, Manziel intends on sobering up starting July 1. He also says he intends on training like crazy in hopes of catching on with an NFL team.
Manziel is currently in Mexico. Manziel had an eventful past week who was involved in a hit and run accident last week and his lawyer accidentally texted the AP. Manziel’s father also called him a druggie and hoped that his son would go to jail.
In Manziel’s two seasons with the Browns, he played in 14 games. He completed 147 passes on 258 attempts while throwing for 1,675 yards. He threw for seven touchdowns and rushed for another, but he also fumbled seven times and threw seven interceptions. Manziel is currently a free agent.
