Johnny Manziel is living with fellow Texas A&M alum Von Miller as he attempts to shake off recent missteps and get his NFL career back on track.
TMZ caught up with the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner on Saturday night in West Hollywood and Manziel said that the Denver Broncos linebacker is his new roommate.
“I’m living out here with my guy, Von Miller,” Manziel said. “Everybody knows Von Miller. Super Bowl MVP, Von Miller, my brother. I’m living with him right now. We’re getting our lives together, bro.”
Miller has been a defender of Manziel as of late, saying in February that he thought the quarterback was on the right path to recovery. On Friday, Miller told reporters at a Texas A&M event that if it was up to him Manziel would already be a member of the Broncos.
Manziel was released by the Cleveland Browns in March, just two seasons after he was selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He is still awaiting the decision of a grand jury that will determine whether or not the quarterback will face charges for allegations of domestic violence.
