Tate Martell, the No. 1-rated dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2017, has been committed to Texas A&M since August 2015. But the coveted prospect is still exploring his options.
Martell flew from San Diego to Columbus, Ohio, for an unofficial visit with Big Ten power Ohio State, he tweeted Wednesday.

Ohio State has expressed interest in Martell, who attends Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nev., and Buckeyes wide receivers coach Zach Smith visited the quarterback in January. Five-star wide receiver Tyjon Lindsey, who is a former teammate of Martell, plans to visit Ohio State this weekend.
As it stands, Martell has 18 reported offers in addition to the Aggies, including Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas and another Big Ten mainstay in Michigan.
