SEC eyes in Texas remain on the Longhorns.
You might think that Texas A&M would want to forget everything burnt orange after leaving the Big 12. You would be wrong.
Texas’ annual showdown with Oklahoma is happening in Dallas on Saturday, and a live feed of the game found its way on a Kyle Field video board before the Aggies take on Tennessee later in the afternoon.

Texas A&M is in a better place after parting ways with Texas. But it’s fascinating to consider how many Aggies fans keep track of their former rival. Probably a bunch of ribbing takes place even though Texas and Texas A&M don’t play each year anymore. Old habits die hard.
In a way, it’s a shame such a storied series died with Texas A&M’s move. But the Aggies should enjoy where their program stands five seasons into the change.
