This is definitely not the first time this season that Alabama’s ridiculous winning streak was in danger.
While the Tide have rolled over all comers this season, Feldman thinks No. 6 Texas A&M will not only cover a hefty point spread, but will shock Nick Saban’s crew on Saturday in Tuscaloosa by a score of 23-21, snapping ‘Bama’s streak at 19.
Most college football fans have come to accept top-ranked Alabama will just turn these hyped games into a laugher (as it did with USC… Arkansas… Tennessee…), but Feldman is not yet a believer.
In his weekly picks column, Feldman notes:
The Aggies are more physical and more athletic than the Vols, and my hunch is they’ll be ready for this test.
Feldman said Aggies quarterback Trevor Knight could hit his fantastic wide receivers for big plays down the field.
Meanwhile, he said A&M defensive coordinator John Chavis could put Jalen Hurts into trouble spots for Alabama. He said pressure could cause problems for the freshman quarterback.
Feldman did say, however, the Aggies will have to tackle much better than they have all season.
Feldman also likes Auburn and LSU to pick up nice home wins.
