An Orlando-based columnist had tough words Monday for new Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher.
The Orlando Sentinel’s Mike Bianchi appeared on The Paul Finebaum Show and, well, Bianchi won’t receive a Christmas card from Fisher soon.
As you can see in the tweet below, Bianchi said Fisher “quit after such a horrible season” with Florida State. Fisher went 5-6 with the Seminoles this season before resigning prior to Florida State’s regular-season finale against Louisiana-Monroe on Dec. 2.

Bianchi has a reason to be salty. On Nov. 7, he wrote a column titled, “FSU coach Jimbo Fisher is NOT going to Texas A&M.” So yeah, that prediction was wrong.
At the time, Fisher’s departure seemed a little surprising. After all, he had turned down previous attempts by LSU to lure him from Tallahassee. But the 10-year, $75 million deal at Texas A&M was too large for Fisher to turn down.
It won’t be easy for Fisher in the SEC West, with dates against Alabama staring at him every season. You can bet he won’t be allowed many “horrible” seasons in College Station.
