His NFL future might still be murky, but Johnny Manziel will be running the show in Cleveland for the rest of 2015.
After turning in a nice performance while replacing injured starter Josh McCown, Manziel has earned the starting quarterback job for the Browns, according to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer.
In six games this season, the former Texas A&M star has completed 59.4 percent of his passes for 933 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions. He threw for 372 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
