Ryan Tannehill’s season could be over before it ever really begins.
The former Texas A&M quarterback sustained a left-knee injury Thursday during practice. While initial reports were optimistic about his condition, ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the Miami Dolphins may believe their QB’s season is over.
Season-ending surgery is feared for Tannehill, although doctors will lay out the options for him and the Dolphins. Other scenarios could have Tannehill missing several weeks to recover from the injury without surgery.
The injury occurred during on a noncontact play at practice as Tannehill went down while scrambling.
