Report: Former Texas A&M star Ryan Tannehill to undergo season-ending surgery
Unfortunately for himself and his team, Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill’s 2017 season is officially over before it could begin. After news came out last week that Tannehill had suffered a significant knee injury in practice, the Palm Beach Post’s Joe Schad is reporting that Tannehill will need to have season-ending surgery:

The former Texas A&M star is coming off a nice 2016 season, in which he completed 67 percent of his passes and had a 19:12 touchdown-to-interception ratio.
In his place, the Dolphins signed another former SEC star: Vanderbilt’s Jay Cutler. The former Commodores QB was convinced to give up his new job as an analyst for FOX Sports in exchange for another shot in the league.
