Texas A&M has already lost one quarterback for the season in Nick Starkel. And now they might be without another one.
According to Billy Lucci of Texags.com, quarterback Jake Hubenak is likely out for Saturday’s game against Louisiana-Lafayette. Per the report, Hubenak is dealing with a shoulder injury that has persisted since fall camp began back in August.
Hubenak took over for freshman Kellen Mond, who would be the starter in Hubenak’s absence. In two games, Mond is 15 for 38 for just 132 yards. Hubenak was 12 of 15 for 93 yards in the game against Nicholls, after he didn’t play against UCLA.
