Super agent Drew Rosenhaus may be taking on his toughest challenge of his career: Getting embattled and former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel on an NFL team.
Manziel has hired Rosenhaus as part of an effort to rehab his downtrodden career, according to CBS Sports’ Jason LaCanfora.
Manziel’s previous agent, Erik Burkhardt, cut ties with Manziel in February after he was released by the Cleveland Browns for a slew of off-field incidents. The third-year quarterback has spent time in rehab, dealt with drinking problems and most recently got in an alleged domestic assault incident with his girlfriend in late January.
Rosenhaus has dealt with all sorts of athletes, but Manziel may be his hardest sales pitch yet.
