Report: Texas A&M receiver suspended for bowl game
The bad news continued to pile up for Texas A&M on Wednesday.
Sophomore wide receiver Speedy Noil was suspended for the Music City Bowl against Louisville as well as the Aggies’ season opener against UCLA in 2016, according to GigEm247.
Noil ranked fourth on the team in receiving, hauling in 21 receptions for 226 yards and a pair of touchdowns this season.
Earlier in the day, news broke that freshman quarterback Kyler Murray is thinking about transferring from the university. That news comes a week after sophomore quarterback Kyle Allen announced he planned to do the same.
A four-star wide receiver also announced his decommitment from the Aggies on Wednesday
Texas A&M will face Louisville in the Music City Bowl on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be aired on ESPN.
