Texas A&M wide receiver Speedy Noil was arrested April 1 for driving without a license, according to Brazos County arrest records obtained by Connor Tapp of GigEm247.
Noil was released on $600 bond soon after and participated in Texas A&M’s scrimmage later that night.
Noil followed up a sensational freshman campaign with a dismal 2015 season. After catching 46 passes for 583 yards, five touchdowns and making a myriad of electric plays on special teams in 2014, Noil’s sophomore campaign saw his production cut in half. A bowl game suspension for violating team rules as well as injuries kept the former five-star player from matching his freshman numbers.
Noil was the No. 1 overall wide receiver in the Class of 2014, according to the 247Sports Composite.
