Jimbo Fisher is trying really hard to fit in at Texas A&M.
The new Aggies coach is making himself at home in the Lone Star State. And what says “Texas” more than wearing blue jeans and a cowboy hat while riding a horse in Houston? Fisher knows what’s up.

Give Fisher credit for going all out after his move to Texas A&M from Florida State. This is a honeymoon period of sorts for the Aggies coach after he was awarded a 10-year, $75 million contract to make Texas A&M a contender for SEC and national titles. Why not enjoy it?
Yes, pressure will increase for Fisher soon. You don’t take a job with a contract that large without knowing intense expectations will be part of the gig. Still, officials in College Station have huge confidence in the national championship-winning coach to make the Aggies a player on the national stage. Even SEC Network’s Paul Finebaum recently told SEC Country that Fisher is the SEC’s best new coaching hire.
Fisher should keep doing Texas things, because if all goes well, he’ll be in the state for a long time.
