Texas A&M’s recruiting efforts have received a big boost.
Four-star inside linebacker Anthony Hines committed to the Aggies on Friday, choosing Texas A&M over Florida, Ohio State, TCU, Penn State and UCLA.

The Plano (Texas) East High School product reports offers from 90 programs, and is ranked as the nation’s No. 2 inside linebacker.
The 6-foot-3, 222-pound recruit also ranks as the nation’s No 88 overall player and the state of Texas’ No. 11 prospect, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
