Texas A&M snapped out of its two-game losing streak at the right time, as its recent performance was good enough to help the team earn a spot in the College Football Playoff rankings.
The Aggies still have plenty of ground between them and a Playoff spot, but they are still in contention to play for the SEC Championship game in Atlanta.
Texas A&M will have an opportunity to improve its resume when it hosts Auburn on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
The Aggies are currently No. 24 in the Coaches Poll and No. 25 in the AP Polls.
