Texas A&M (5-1, 2-1 SEC) lost its first game of the season on Saturday, falling 41-23 at home to then No.9 Alabama. Despite the loss, the Aggies didn’t fall too far off the national grid by sliding down to No. 15, down six spots from last week.
The Aggies were unranked in the preseason but quickly changed that following an eye-opening Week 1 victory over Arizona State. They made a steady climb to No. 9 before losing in Week 7 to Alabama.
Texas A&M will look to rebound, as it will play Ole Miss on Oct. 24 in Oxford, Miss. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on Saturday.
