Devodrick Johnson, a 3-star athlete from Kimball High School (Dallas), announced his commitment to Texas A&M via Twitter on Thursday.

Johnson is listed as a dual-threat quarterback and outside linebacker, per 247Sports, and holds a reported 17 offers, including Arizona, Houston and Texas A&M, among others. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound athlete took an unofficial visit to College Station on Thursday after receiving an offer on May 19.
He becomes the 18th commitment of the Aggies’ 2017 class. Johnson is rated as the nation’s No. 34 outside linebacker in the country and the state of Texas’ No. 75 overall player, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
