Tate Martell, the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the Class of 2017, is still committed to Texas A&M, but it could be a while before he makes a final decision.
The 5-foot-11, 203-pound quarterback plans to take all five of his allotted official visits and, if necessary, take an unspecified amount of unofficial visits on his own, he wrote in a tweet posted Monday.

all of my visits. Thank you! pic.twitter.com/tTQWtGuaQT

“I’m planning on taking all 5 of my visits,” Martell wrote. “This is because I feel I have worked to (sic) not to take full advantage of the opportunities I have been given. If I do feel that I will need more than 5 visits to see all the schools I want then I will take unofficial visits on my own as well.”
Martell has reported 18 offers in addition to the Aggies, including SEC schools Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and LSU. Martell also listed 14 more schools that he would like to see or be offered by, including Tennessee and South Carolina.
“At this time I do believe Texas A&M is the best school for me,” Martell wrote. “But I’m going to give every school that recruits me a fair chance to prove me wrong.”
