Trevor Knight officially earned the starting quarterback job at Texas A&M on Monday, and kept the good times rolling Tuesday night at a Justin Bieber concert with “Duck Dynasty” star Sadie Robertson.
Robertson, 18, is the daughter of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson, and was a runner-up in the 19th season of “Dancing With The Stars.”
A graduate transfer from Oklahoma, Knight beat out Jake Hubenak for the starting role with the Aggies, and led the first-team offense well in the team’s spring game, solidifying his spot at the top of the depth chart.
Knight passed for 2,300 yards with 14 touchdowns and 12 interceptions as a sophomore for the Sooners in 2014. He also rushed for 339 yards and five touchdowns. However, he was replaced in OU’s starting lineup by Baker Mayfield in 2015, but not before catching the eye of pop star Katy Perry.
Knight takes over the reins at Texas A&M after both Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray elected to transfer from the university after the 2015 season.
